The Lido

The Lido is one of those places that just feels special when you go there - a wee oasis in the middle of the city, tucked behind rows of buildings in Clifton. I've been here a handful of times - the first thanks to a gift voucher as a work leaving present, the second when we got married and the third as a birthday treat when I was pregnant with my second child. I remember each time vividly - amazing massages, feeling so spoilt mooching about the poolside, and then really indulging myself in the restaurant after. I think I'm overdue a visit... 

This is a print from an original mixed media piece, with lots of blues and yellows, in washes of watercolour and flashes of pencil. It goes great with the rest of my 'half a lifetime' collection.
