This brand new print is based on my original watercolour painting, inspired by a photo I took back in 2018 during one of those golden, hazy Bristol evenings. I'd been sitting by the Olive Shed, soaking in the warmth, the colour of the sky, and the stillness of the harbour - and I remember thinking, “I need to paint this.”
It’s taken me a few years (and a few false starts), but something finally clicked. The colours, the composition, the feeling - it all came together better than I’d imagined. This piece also sparked a new technique I’ve started using in my work, which has been quietly evolving behind the scenes.
