Clifton Suspension Bridge

No Bristol art collection would be complete without the Suspension Bridge. I have a few versions already, but this one is my favourite and was drawn specifically to go with the rest of the 'half a lifetime' collection. For me, core memories include watching the incredible 150th anniversary fireworks in 2014 from the road beneath, walking across it one new years, watching the balloons at sunrise from the hill beside and cycling over to go mountain biking in Ashton Court. I never tire of how spectacular the view is from it and surrounding it, and it's a favourite landmark for many for good reason. 

This is a print from an original mixed media piece, with lots of rich blues and greens, in washes of watercolour and flashes of bright pencil. It goes great with the rest of my 'half a lifetime' collection.
