I've always adored drawing buildings, and this listing is an invitation to trust me with yours. Each house portrait is carefully hand drawn and painted in watercolour, capturing not just the structure of the building, but the feeling of home behind it.

What you'll receive:

How it works

1. Place your order: No need to contact me first - simply purchase the listing.
2. Send your reference photo: After checkout, email me jen@jenniferjacksonart.co.uk with a photo of the property you want me to draw. I can also work from Google maps or Rightmove listings if you have those; the clearer the photo, the better the result! Front-facing photos in good light work best.
3. I create your portrait: I’ll hand draw and paint your house in watercolour, using the reference image and my artistic judgement to choose colours that suit the building beautifully.
4. Final touches: Small personal details (house number, name, or a short date) can be added if requested. If there's a specific detail e.g. a tree that used to exist, a special plant to include, or if you have any other preferences, please let me know this too. 
5. Delivery: Your finished artwork will be carefully packaged and posted to you. 

Colour & style

These portraits are painted in watercolour, as shown in the listing photos. Each house is different, and I’ll always work with the reference image and the character of the building to decide how best to use colour, keeping the result timeless and balanced. If you have something specific in mind, you’re very welcome to leave a note at checkout.

Turnaround time

• Approximately 3 weeks from receiving your reference photo, but this time varies and this page won't always be up-to-date

• UK & Ireland: £75 + £10 UK delivery (Special Next Day Royal Mail) 
• Outside of UK & Ireland: £75 + £15 (International Tracked)
